elp, all my stuff has been moved over to my new apartment. Our phone still doesn't get a dialtone even though it was supposed to be on by Saturday, and consequently, our DSL is also not set up yet. But my new roommate, Matt, and I were fortunate enough to discover somebody nearby with an unsecured wireless network connection, so we've been leeching off of them, and we will probably continue to do so until our own connection is activated. I doubt they would ever even realize what was going on. All I can say is... protect yourself, people. The people whose connection we are using now have their network set up in a way where I can actually access everything on their hard drive, including their extensive collection of gay porn videos.
No, I won't be doing anything destructive to their computers, besides it wouldn't be nice to do something like that to someone who is letting us "borrow" their internet connection. But I'm just letting you all know so that maybe you'll think about securing your own network connections and protect yourselves from digital hooligans like us. Heck, even Cami and Leanne are "borrowing" a neighbor's wireless ethernet connection, and while they certainly are proficient at using computers, they are by no means any kind of super nerdo tech-head geek hackers or anything like that. So yeah...
Yesterday was the big moving day. We got ourselves a U-Haul truck, and some help from Jeff, Cami, Ben and even Zac who drove all the way down from L.A. to help out. We got the major stuff all moved in yesterday, and we actually got it done pretty quick! Thanks guys! Unfortuantely, I had a lot of stuff still back at the old place. But fortunately for me, Cami was planning to be out of town on Easter, and said I could borrow her station wagon to move the rest of my stuff. So I did. But unfortunately, moving goes much slower when you're largely working by yourself and without a big truck, though Matt did help me unload my stuff from the car. I ended up making a total of 3 trips with Cami's car.
And now I'm just totally exhausted, my body is aching and my sprit is drained. All just in time for two more days of manual labor... now that all the stuff I want to keep is moved in, I have to go back and dispose of all of the stuff I don't want anymore, and then of course, I've got to clean. Then maybe I can think about unpacking my stuff and figuring out how I'm going to fit all my stuff into this room that is probably less than half the size of my old bedroom haha.
And now, this exhausted boy is going to sleep. Have a great day, everyone.

ami and I are finally 100% out of our old apartment now. I am completely and utterly exhausted, but I'm very much looking forward to finally having the time to really unpack and settle in at my new place. Cami and I were reflecting upon how we both really enjoyed living at that place... up until about six months ago when they started doing their "renovations" that really made things worse. Then they wanted to charge a ridiculous amount of rent, and then the quality of the neighbors really went down. I'll be happy to never go back there again.
And now it's time for new adventures. Yay!
