| Planesia was a company that I worked for that, for better or for worse, shut down in April of 2001. Basically what we were trying to do was provide a place where people could just provide their address and credit card information in just one place and that it would allow them to shop at all of the participating stores without ever having to enter that information again, and to check out from our shopping cart from all of the places at once. Was there, is there, or will there ever be a need for such a thing? Probably not. But that doesn't mean we didn't produce some high quality work there. I am proud of the design work that I did along with the other web designer, Glenn, and thus I have preserved some of the work. This company is LONG gone. Don't try to contact them. Below are some links to the some of the work I have saved. Remember, These are NON FUNCTIONING SAMPLES: Corporate Website - This was the Planesia corporate website. Basically your typical, "please invest in us, we're a dot-com that will make billions after our IPO" dot-com website which was so common in those days. Still, I've always liked the way it looked. Shopping Welcome Page - The idea was that each web "portal" (haha remember when those were supposed to be big money?) could keep their own branding in the shopping system so that they could say they are offering online shopping. So the consumer goes off shopping at their favorite stores, while the portal's branding remains on screen at all times. This is an example of what one of these pages would look like, with "Sisna" being the portal. Alternate Theme Page - We later decided that we would give portals a choice of "themes" including different types of icons and colors to match their own color schemes better. This is an example of one such alternate "theme" being used with a ficitious portal.
