his has been one pretty uneventful week for me. I did, however, manage to watch Babe, Bottle Rocket, and Kids on DVD this week though, and they're up on the DVD Review Page. Hmmm. What else. Well, last night a bunch of us went to the Onyx Room in downtown San Diego, a small-ish bar/club type place, that wasn't too bad, although most of the crowd was a bit... older, they did have this flat panel TV showing a loop of a hilarious 70's disco movie clip featuring this crazy guy in this crazy blue jumpsuit with rhinestones and an exposed hairy chest busting some freaky moves. The dance floor was pretty small, and like, nobody was really dancing though. There was this crazy bachellorette party going on there early on though, and those ladies were pretty entertaining to watch.
Hmmm what else. Well, I can't really think of anything else. So instead, I'll talk about the day after tomorrow. Yup, the third season of Star Trek: The Next Generation is coming out on DVD, and of course, I'll be buying it... I really can't think of anything else to write about right now so... yeah.

hhh, the good ol' Del Mar Fair... except this year they called it the San Diego County Fair for some reason. This year I went with Cami, Jeff and Leanne, and I almost didn't, but I'm glad I did! We did a lot of enjoying one of my favorite parts of the fair... unhealthy food! I personally started out with a hot pastrami sandwich. Later I tried some pan fried chicken. There was actually a barbeque stand also selling fried chicken, but I wanted some from the place that only sells fried chicken.
The skin was not as good as the chicken I make at home, but damn, I've never had a juicier piece of fried chicken in my whole life! Man, if I could get my chicken to be that juicy, my recepie would be absolutely unbeatable! Later on in the evening, I had a freshly hand-dipped ice cream bar, dipped in chocolate then covered with Oreo bits. Yum, yum yum!
We didn't even ride any rides, but we did see this crazy new thing... a huge tower... but instead of bungee jumping off of it, the person free falls, completely untethered, into a safety net below... it's a pretty damned long fall... at least a few seconds long!!
Anyway, as I said before, I almost didn't go, but I'm glad I did, even though my feet are so tired now. Hahaha. Anyway, check out these pics... and there are a coupe more in my giant repository.
