Saturday

Where is Friday? There is no Friday on this thing. Saturday, me and Law (who

went skating instead of working on Sequence 3000) went out to Spring Valley to hook up with Jan, Zeb and Viktor cuz Zeb said that there was a pretty cool spot out there.

So we got out there, and watched some Last Call which was pretty good (and has a couple of shots of Viktor), and also some VG13. Unfortunately, the highlight of VG 13 was the part at the end that showed the results of the voting from VG12. The Bandwagon section got voted #1, with 30% of the vote. Arkansas was voted best of the new school.

After that we piled into our cars and headed for Mount Miguel High School, Zeb's ultra-cool spot. Only to find that the asphalt was so rough that it was like off roading, and nothing was waxed. Bummer. But Viktor did find some things to skate, including a (really rough) bank, which I have a picture of. Ok. So my photographic skills suck and the

photo actually shows him just about to jump off the fence rail. But so what!? Get off my case!!! He also hit a couple of rails and a roof gap.

Later that night, some of us (Jan, Viktor, me, Law) skated at UCSD. Mostly we just went around to all the ledges and rails that have been capped and rendered unskatable. We pretty much just cried the whole night as a large number of historical inline skating spots have been destroyed. The rest of the time, we were running from the cops. Everybody crashed at my place. We played some THPS horse, and everybody kicked Viktor's ass because he sucks at all forms of HORSE.

Sunday

Sunday was a trip to the Encinitas YMCA Skate Park with Lawrence, Viktor, Jan and myself. Viktor dazzled the T-dogs with his superior skating ability, while Lawrence, the king of the T-dogs, dazzled them with his Psirus skates and blue anodized Fifty-50 Aluminum grind plates.

Viktor proved a very capable street course and mini-ramp skater, with a plethora of tricks and switch ups. He also looks for and skates very good, even innovative lines. However, he proved once again to be very poor at playing HORSE, losing to skaters of inferior skill, even though the game was played mostly as stalls on a tiny three-foot mini

ramp. He just couldn't hang with my sweatstance to parallel fishbrain, or Jan's mizou to AO topsoul.

There aren't any pictures of Sunday because I didn't bring my camera with me. Anyway, even though none of my pictures show him landing any tricks, he really is a good skater, and if I was half as good a photograher as he is a skater, he would actually look good in this article.

He is a very welcome addition to Sea-Quints Online's new international team, and a great guy to hang out with. Just watch out ladies, because he's always on the prowl!
